One year of Bottled Messages
Happy birthday, Blog!
Incredible things happened in the past 365 days.
For starters, I honestly didn't think I'd write this much on my blog. I still don't think anyone or anything really interacts with it, hence why I think the metaphor of throwing bottles into the ocean feels apt, still.
Either way, if you are reading this and you think I'm wrong, shoot me a message! I'm always happy to chat and be proven wrong on my pessimistic thoughts.
Something more personal
I recently managed to land a job in a programming career; It's alright and nothing too exciting, but at least I earn some money.
Employment has its benefits, such as managing to pay for furry conventions and a fursuit, which I may be getting as soon as early 2027... For the friendly furs reading this, stay tuned!
Last September I started practicing a new sport which, in a definitely cliché way, is super nerdy but surprisingly technical. I am taking about Ludosport, which is the official name for lightsaber combat and no, it's definitely not choreography!
I made some very cool and interesting new friends, the atmosphere during lessons is cheerful and inclusive and overall it's a lot of fun! Looking forward to next year.
As far as my general mood is concerned, I have had ups and downs throughout the past 365 days. The valleys aren't that deep but the peaks aren't that high, either. I'm currently trying to cut out the stuff that makes me fall into the valleys as much as possible, while staying on a baseline neutral ground for as long as I can. I'm working on it, bear with me...
Something about this blog
I don't really have a big plan for this blog.
I like the way it's structured with some posts here and there, written when I feel the need to say something or just talk about anything in particular; I'd like to keep it this way.
Then, maybe, I will keep a simple plan that I just outlined... Sounds good, huh?
It may be time to update my About page since now it's slightly inaccurate - and by slightly I mean quite a lot.
And as always, thank you for reading.
